I had to stay at the hotel due to business. Unfortunately, my stay was extended for another 10 days because I was tested positive the day of my leave. During these 10 days, both the owners of the hotel (Malin and Linus) and the staff treated me as family. I was in isolation but they always offered me meals, coffee even sweets for my coffee! I never had any issues and the internet was faultless. It’s a place that I will visit again whenever I will be in the region!

The hotel is under renovation. Current rooms are rather old and are in need of renovation. No blinds to cover the window with so the room was wery light the whole night. Beds are not so comfortable especially if you are sleeping in the …

The hotel is beautiful and has the best location in the centre of Älvdalen, close to several eateries. But the Hotel restaurant is also excellent, and serves a good and cheap lunch. The establishment also duals as a bar/pub, and hosts occasional parties with live music.

We were thrilled with Hotell Alvdalen. It is a beautiful hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. We found the staff to be attentive and friendly. We stayed there on a trip to visit Fulufallet National Park - an easy drive from Alvdalen. I highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed only one night when driving through together with wife and 2 children. I was surprised by the quality of this hotel, and the size of the hotel in such a small village. Restaurant was good too, both for dinner and breakfast. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Great Hagstrom atmosphere, and wonderful restaurant. Okay drawback is that staff leave in the evening and no one to handle loud guests playing music. In the middle of the night...
